EFTEC
After my school I start an internship in the Pharmacy My first interview at EFTEC I remember as it was yesterday, direct after the interview then boss Mr Nahon said you can start but in 3 days you have to go direct to Swiss for a training of 3 months and I take it and changed the pharmacy for automotive My career went OK and so here after 30 years I am still at EFTEC ! After 3 month I got 3 months extra in Swiss, very nice region: the lake and the beautiful mountains, so I didn’t refuse. After Swiss I started in EFTEC Belgium from the customer support lab into development, into responsible of the lab , I got even the change to go into Purchasing and then back in the lab as a global world wide responsible for developments in Plastisols & Waxes It is never boring at EFTEC and they give my a lot of change to see the world from China to America. I could enjoy and still do: the nice collaborations with our customers and I am grateful that I got the change to know other cultures and still can do

Ben WEETMANN
Application Engineer
NISSAN UK
I joined Nissan Motor Manufacturing via the graduate scheme. My first year was spent in production as a supervisor in Check & Repair (post paint application). This gave me an appreciation for the full paint process as well as the defects caused by each zone. Once returning to Engineering I was part of the commissioning team for the new Emissions Compliant Paintshop. My involvement was based on the process side of the topcoat application. During the support period, one of my main focuses was defect reduction as this heavily contributes towards one the shops main KPI’s. Currently I am working on the optimization of the topcoat process.
